Swalambhi Nagar: Car catches fire, turns into a mangled mass within few minutes

Nagpur: Call it “Green House” effect or any other effect, but the fact is that the temperature is on the rise and has reached an all time high. The effect can be seen on human, animals and even on non-living things.

A car parked in Swalambi Nagar falling within Pratap Nagar Police Station caught fire at around 2:20 am. The car turned into a mangled mass within a few minutes. Nearly two fire engines for hours before the fire could be extinguished. Sources claimed that the owner of the car incurred a loss of Rs 4 lakhs.

According to the Fire Department officials, the owner of the car bearing RTO Registration No MH-31/ EK-8831, is identified as Anikhet Gadekar a resident of a house situated near Mokhare College in Swalambi Nagar.

Late in the night, the car suddenly caught fire and turned into a mangled mass within a few minutes. The Fire Department was informed immediately and two fire engines were dispatched to the spot. After nearly an hour, the fire was brought under control but by then the car was entirely damaged.
