Supari-trader duped of 16 tons of supari

Supari-Roasted-650x418Nagpur: Under the jurisdiction of Kalmana police station, a trader in supari (betel nuts) has been duped of 16 tons of supari. The police have registered a case against the truck-owner, Mohammad Usman, as well as the truck-driver, on the basis of the complaint lodged.

According to police, Senoy Tolat, resident of Old Kamptee, lodged a complaint that the consignment of 16 tons of supari, dispatched from Nagpur did not reach its destination at Delhi (Sonpan Rodax). He alleged that the truck-owner Mohammad Usman and its driver have made away the goods (supari).

He told the police that he had sent the consignment (16 tons of supari packed in 423 sacks) by a truck No. RJ 14/ GC 4626 through M/s Adkino Traders and Transport Company, Old Kamptee Road Toll Naka,on June 24, 2015, but the consignment did not reach its destination. The police is further investigating the case.
