Nagpur News: While most of the people in Nagpur took to Republic Day celebrations in a traditional manner, others marked the day by doing something different. And these 40 swimmers were among them when on Saturday they swam through the chilled waters of Ambazari lake and unfurled the national flag in the middle of the vast water body.
The group of 40 swimmers swam 500 meters in the lake before hoisting Tricolor, saluting it and singing national anthem.
The swimmers informed that they have been practising the same every Republic Day for the last 22 years.
