State Govt move to award Tekdi Ganesh Temple, Deekshabhumi the “A” Status

Nagpur News: The Guardian Minister Shivajirao Moghe has directed the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) to submit a proposal immediately for awarding “A” Status to Tekdi Ganesh Temple and Deekshabhumi as the places are of faith to lakhs and lakhs of people across the country.

Moghe was addressing the review meeting of District Planning Committee at Bachat Bhavan. Moghe urged all the representatives of political parties to strive for a separate District Planning Committee for Nagpur only on the line of Mumbai by making amendments in the law.

THE DPC meeting was attended by MP Avinash Pande, Minister of State for Finance Rajendra Mulak, Zilla Parishad President Sandhya Gotmare, MLAs Devendra Fadnavis, Dinanath Padole, Krishna Khopde, Adv Aashish Jaiswal, Sudhir Parwe, Vijay Ghodmare, Vikas Kumbhare, the DPC elected members from Municipal Corporation, ZP, Nagar Palika constituencies, member of Vidarbha Statutory Development Board Mrunalini Fadnavis, District Collector Saurabh Rao, NMC Commissioner Shyam Wardhane, Chief Executive Officer Pradeep P and others.
