State Board releases timetable for SSC, HSC exams

Nagpur: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has released timetables for Secondary School Certificate Examination (Std X) and for Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (Std XII). The examinations wil lbe conducted off-line.

As per the announcement, the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) examination will begin on March 4 and will end on April 7, 2022. The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination will be held between March 15 and April 18, 2022. The examinations will be conducted in two sessions.

Due to Covid-19, the curriculum was earlier cut by 25 per cent. Questions will only be from this reduced syllabus. The Government is very much assertive on the issue of declaration of result. It is trying to announce the HSC results by the second week of June, 2022 and SSC results by the second week of July, 2022.

All Covid-19 safety norms will be followed. Practical examinations, grade, orals and internal assessments for HSC students will be conducted from February 14 to March 3.Thepracticals, orals for SSC students, will begin on February 25 and will conclude on March 14,2022.

Compared to previous years, the schedule of Board exams has been changed and it is extended by two weeks. This change was introduced to make schools complete their syllabus.
