Chennai: Stalin elected as DMK working president. The general council of the DMK met on Wednesday to crown party treasurer and heir apparent M K Stalin.
The meeting at the party headquarters ‘Anna Arivalayam’, ends the DMK scion’s agonising wait for an elevation.
DMK president M Karunanidhi has been unwell and has remained confined to his Gopalapuram residence since October last.
