SSC results out, girls outshine boys this year too, Nagpur records 87.47 pass percentage

The number of girl students who passed the exam stands at 29673 as against 28107 boys who made it. The pass percentage for girls is 89.79 and for the boys, it is 85.16.

Nagpur News: Girls outsmarted boys this year too when the results Class 10 (SSC) examination were announced by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) on Tuesday (June 17).

According to reports available Shubham Patil of Pandit bachhraj has topped Nagpur with 98.8 followed by student of South Point School with 98.6 and Riya Ghode of Somalwar Ramdaspeth scoring 98.49

In Nagpur District, a total of 66054 students appeared for the SSC examination out of which 33006 are boys and 33048 are girls. The number of students who cleared the exam stands at 57780 with pass percentage being 87.47. However, the number of girl students who passed the exam stood at 29673 as against 28107 boys who made it. The pass percentage of girls being 89.79 they outclassed the boys whose pass percentage is recorded as 85.16. Subsequently, this year also the girls left the boys way behind in pass percentage.
The overall performance of Nagpur Division was also better than last year. Out of 175523 students who appeared for the Class 10 exam, 145557 passed with percentage being 82.93. Here also the girls scored a point. 74319 girls passed the exam as against 71238 boys with pass percentage standing at 85.39 and 80.50 respectively.
