Nagpur: A rashly driven speeding truck knocks down a 38 year old bike rider to death on Sakkardara flyover on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday. Police sources said, Gajendra Manohar Kutmate (38), a resident of Narsala, was heading towards home on his motorcycle (MH-49/Z-1823).
While passing through Sakkardara flyover, a speeding truck (MH-30/L-4237) hit the motorcycle from behind at 12.24 am and sped away from the spot. Gajendra was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
A police officer informed that Gajendra had received multiple injuries in the mishap. Sakkardara police have registered the case under Sections 279, 304 (a) of Indian Penal Code read with Sub-sections 134 and 177 of MVA
