Sonia Gandhi to attend Ram temple ceremony

Sonia Gandhi will attend the consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22, reports NDTV. Gandhi, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, and the party’s leader in the Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, were all invited to the event, which has become the focus of the country’s political landscape ahead of a general election in less than four months.

While many political leaders have agreed to attend the event, others have accused the BJP-led government of trying to set a narrative to its advantage ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
