Nagpur: Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi arrived in Nagpur today on Monday, from airport they first went to “Deekshabhoomi” (the place where Dr.Ambedkar converted to Buddhism with his followers) to pay respects to the architect of the Indian constitution.
Gandhi’s didn’t talk to media on arrival.

The rally has been organised as a concluding event of Dr.Ambedkar’s 125th birth anniversary, which the Congress claims to have celebrated for last one year.
Heavy security arrangements have been put in place from Nagpur airport to Kasturchand Park ground where the mother-son duo is scheduled to address an expected crowd of around one lakh today evening.
Maharashtra Congress president Ashok Chavhan has been camping in Nagpur to make this rally a success and almost all Congress Chief Ministers and different state congress presidents are expected to attend the rally.
According to Congress leaders, Nagpur was selected for this mega rally not because the city is the RSS headquarters but for the city’s special connection with Dr.Ambedkar.
