Sonegaon cop dead as speeding car overturns in Hingna

Sonegaon cop Accident Hingna
Nagpur: A policeman met a tragic end while the three others were seriously injured when the car they were travelling in, overturned near Dhamna Shivar on Nagpur-Amravati road under Hingna police station. The incident happened on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday when the driver, who was also included among the injured, suddenly lost control over the vehicle. The deceased has been identified as Manish Kadwe, who was posted at Sonegaon police station.

Sources informed that Kadwe along with police constable Pankaj Sampatrao Meshram and constable at Nandanvan police station Shankarrao Nibarte had gone to Shirdi and Shegaon on the occasion of Guru Poornima on Sunday in a Swift Dzire vehicle (MH 31 DK 5200) being driven by Suraj Parate, 28. The vehicle was reportedly at very high speed while it was passing through Nagpur-Amravati highway, which led the driver to suddenly lost control over the vehicle.

While Kadwe reportedly died on the spot, all the three sustained serious injuries. All the injured have been admitted to Welltreat Hospital. Meanwhile, Kadwe’s death has brought a pall of gloom among his colleagues in the department.
