Somalwar High Schools ranks 1 in collection of E-waste

Nagpur: 1200 kilograms of E-waste was collected by 1920 students of Somalwar High School in a drive organised by Atal Tinkering Club under Niti Ayog. The event continued from 16th to 19th August.

The students were guided by Headmistress of the school Vaishali P. Dakhole and the faculty members.

Broken laptops, monitors, CPU, Mouse, CDs, Mobiles, Battery, Remote Control, toys, wires et cetera were collected in the drive. Receiving an excellent response from the students, the school has stood first in the nation wise participant schools. The school has also applied to be registered in Limca Book of World Records.
