The Invitational Basketball Championship organized by Jain International School at Shivaji Nagar Gymkhana (SNG) on May 26, 2014 saw some avid action by the contesting players. SNG-A (Girls) and NBYS-A (Boys) won the championship with their superb game. The Director of Jain International School Anuj Badjate was the chief guest along with other dignitaries of the school management. A student of Jain International School presented a beautiful song that outlined the beauty of sports in the lives of the students.
What a match it was! Nutan Bharat Yuva Sangh-A (NBYS-A) beat Shivaji Nagar Gymkhana-A (SNG-A) with the score 44-28. Ramnath Nayak was top scorer. He scored 14 points. The audience enjoyed the game till the last.
Shivaji Nagar Gymkhana-A (SNG-A) beat Shivaji Nagar Gymkhana-B (SNG-B) with the 34-8 margin. It was a one sided match all the way.
