Jattarodi sub-stationNagpur: As a part of continuous efforts to provide best consumer services and reliable power supply, SNDL augmented 5MVA power transformer to 10MVA capacity at Jattarodi Sub-station recently. The augmentation move would in turn facilitate load growth capacity for consumers of Jattarodi, Imamwada, Untkhana, Rambag and nearby areas. The power franchisee further said that factors such as expected load growth, growing number of legalized electricity connections and increased demand of power in summer season prompted SNDL Nagpur’s O&M team to execute this augmentation activity at Jattarodi substation. The task, with minimal shut-downs, was executed within a short span of 24 hours wherein the EHV testing and O&M team of Manewada-Nandanwan zones undertook the augmentation of the transformer and completed the task speedily.

SNDL said that it is working towards establishment of a new 33KV sub-station at Seminary Hills. As of now, Seminary Hills has an 11KV switching station receiving supply from Mankapur and Bijli Nagar and which is inadequate during high-load summer season to ensure qualitative power supply.
