Nagpur: Reacting to the report published in Nagpur Today titled “SNDL caught on wrong foot over ‘bogus’ meter calibration certificate” the power distribution franchisee has come out with a clarification. The SNDL has charged the complainant consumer Prabhakar Navkhare of providing incorrect information and hiding the true facts.

The power distribution franchisee has said that the aforesaid matter put forward by the complainant has already been squashed by District Consumers Forum. “The consumer (Prabhakar Navkhare) has been playing around with documents presenting incomplete documents to various publications that were gracious enough to despise off such bogus claims by the consumer. The consumer had filed the complaint with the District Consumers Forum against Joint Managing Director and Joint Director of SNDL on 16.6.2015.

However, after perusing the complaint, the Forum had dismissed complaint of Navkhare on 23.1.2017. The complainant, it seems, deliberately hid this fact and presented incorrect information to the publication, ” SNDL asserted in its clarification. “The report has been published on the basis of wrongful statements of the consumer as well as in a one-sided manner,” the Public Relations Officer of SNDL Deepanshu Khirwadkar stated in the clarification.
