Nagpur: NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre & Lata Mangeshkar Hospital celebrated 2015 as a Silver Jubilee Year. The year started with walkathon on 26th Jan 2015 and witnessed number of academic activities in the form of Conferences, CMEs, workshops, cultural activities, sports and many more events for the teachers, students and non teaching staff of the institute. The theme for the year 2015 was Emergency Medical Services.
The concluding function of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations will be held on 24th Dec 2015 at 10 AM in Matoshree Hall NKP SIMS & RC Digdoh Hills Nagpur.
The concluding program includes Alumni meet, Ranjeet Deshmukh Central India Doctors Award where 6 doctors from central India will be felicitated for their outstanding services in health profession and a felicitation program where Ex Deans and teaching and non teaching staff members who have completed 25 years of dedicated services to the institute will be felicitated.
Devendra Fadnavis Chief Minister Govt of Maharashtra will be the Chief Guest and Nitin Gadkari Union Minister for Surface Transport & Shipping Govt of India will preside over the function.
Guests of Honor for the function will be Sudhir Mungantiwar Minister of Finance & Forest, Govt. Of Maharashtra, Chandrashekhar Bawankule Guardian Minister Nagpur & Minister of Energy Govt of Maharashtra and Dr Ved Prakash Mishra Chancellor Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences University Karad.
The function will be held in the gracious presence of Ranjeet Deshmukh Chairman VSPM AHE, Dr Ashish Deshmukh, Treasurer VSPM AHE & Dr Amol Deshmukh Secretary VSPM AHE.
Dr Kajal Mitra Dean NKPSIMS, Dr Vilas Thombare Vice Dean, Dr Suresh Chari Org Secretary and the members of the Organising Committee are working hard to make the event successful.
The concluding function will be followed by lunch at 1 pm and a Live Concert by noted singers Kunal Ganjawala and Shruti Pathak at 7 PM.
