Shreesurya Scam : Four-day PCR for Pallavi Joshi

Nagpur News: The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the city Crime Branch, on Tuesday took director of Shreesurya Dream Destinations Pallavi Joshi into their custody from the Nagpur Central Jail.

Police inspector produced Joshi in the court of Special MPID (Maharashtra Protection of Investors Deposit Act) Judge S C Chandak and has obtained her custody till November 2.

It may be recalled here that the Pallavi Joshi had surrendered before the court on October 24. However, the EOW had then refused to take her custody. Due the EOW’s refusal the court sent Joshi to judicial custody till November 7.

The EOW, on Thursday had to seek a production warrant from the court to take Joshi in to custody.

Meanwhile, the PCR of Shreesurya Group head Samir Joshi is due to expire on Thursday.

As many as 387 complaints have been registered against the accused till now and the amount of money allegedly swindled has run into about ` 33 crore. Meanwhile, the EOW has found details of 5,092 investors who have invested 239 crore.
