Ever since the release of Baaghi 3’s first look, names of several actresses were being tossed around as the female lead of the Tiger Shroff starrer however, the makers have now made an official announcement.
Shraddha Kapoor has been signed as the leading lady of the third edition of Sajid Nadiadwala’s superhit Baaghi franchise. Shraddha had also played the female protagonist in the first installment of Baaghi and now, she will be romancing Tiger again. Baaghi 2 had Tiger’s girlfriend Disha Patani as the female lead however, her character died in the film. Baaghi 3 will be a fresh story and won’t be a continuation of the last film.
While Tiger will be seen performing some high-octane action sequences in the action-drama, Shraddha will also be seen doing some ’maar-dhaadh.’ Kapoor recently signed on the dotted line and is very excited to return to the franchise.
Shraddha Kapoor shared, “I’m super excited to be back with the Baaghi family. I had such a memorable time being a part of Baaghi and this is my third film with Sajid sir, second with Tiger and first with Ahmed sir. The script is amazing and I’m excited to be a part of this movie.”
Sajid added, “The entire team of Baaghi is very happy to have Shraddha Kapoor back. Tiger and Shraddha’s pair was extremely loved in Baaghi and I am sure that fans of the franchise will be as excited as we are to have them together.”
Baaghi 3 will be directed by Ahmed Khan, who had also directed Baaghi 2, and it will release on March 6, 2020.
