While Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s upcoming film Stree wrapped up over the weekend, work’s not over for the film’s leads yet. Mirror has learnt that the makers have decided at the last minute to add some music to the horror-comedy, which was originally conceptualised as a songless story. And the actor-duo will get back to work shortly to shoot for one of two songs. While the film is set in a village and shot in the Madhya Pradesh town of Chanderi, the song will be a contemporary number choreographed by Vijay Ganguly.

A source close to the development reveals, “The song featuring Shraddha and Rajkummar (who plays a tailor in the film) will be shot by the month-end. While both of them will be seen in-character, the song features new-age beats.”

The team has already shot for the second song with Raj and model-actress Nora Fatehi, who does a cameo in the film. “Nora trained for the song, showcasing her belly-dancing skills, for four days, while Rajkummar’s turn was spontaneous and he had to rehearse only once. Singers are yet to be finalised so they shot on a scratch version,” the source adds.
