Nagpur: ‘SHIKHAR’ the Annual fest of Guru Nanak Institutions, was inaugurated on a grand note at the Campus, Dahegaon Kalmeshwar Road, Nagpur. The Inaugural ceremony commenced with the felicitation of Chief Guest Anil Sole, Guest of Honor Jai Singh, Bablee Meshram, Chief Managing Director, GNI, Sardar Navneet Singh Tuli with Managing Director, GNI, Tanpreet Kaur Tuli, Chief Executive Officer, GNI, Dr. Sanjeev Shrivastava, Principal, GNIET, Dr. N.V. Deshpande and Principal, GNIT, Dr. N.M.Kanhe.
The effort of team GNI to bring a sense of togetherness and Academic involvement was evident. “A strong message to spread the necessity of engineering education and importance of extracurricular activities” was given by Anil Sole, whereas Jai Singh’s inspirational message motivated the budding engineers to expand their horizons in the domains of employment generation rather than seeking employment. CMD, Sardar Navneet Singh Tuli, encouraged the students to keep organizing such events in order to enhance their team building abilities and achieving the desired targets in stipulated time, he also wished his best regards to the staff and faculty members for the success of the fest.
The day showcased many breathtaking performances such as vivid dances, fashion walk, theatrical performances by the students. The day ended with Electrifying performance of Kawwali by MESA students, as an effort to build a sense of belonging to the roots, especially among the young students. The event was hosted by Prof. Kalyani Dubey and Prof. Urmi Chakravorty Mittra. The event was coordinated by Prof Surbhi Nayyar. The organizing committee thanked everyone who had contributed, towards a memorable and successful gathering.
