Hailing from Nagpur, Sonu Sood has a natural flair to act and react. From playing the memorable Chhedi Singh in Dabangg to trying his hands in multiple characters in various Bollywood movies, Sonu has evolved a lot, as an actor. His tone and temperament reflects his extremely polished persona which he has generously lent in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil films. He has also appeared in a few Kannada and Punjabi films.

Back in the business yet again, Sonu Sood was in Nagpur to promote his upcoming movie Tutak Tutak Tutiya. This movie is a horror comedy film co-written and directed by A. L. Vijay. It features Prabhu Deva, Tamannaah and Sonu Sood in the lead roles.

In a freewheeling chat with Nagpur Today, Sonu shared his take on his movie, his Nagpur connect and many more things.

NT: Why this movie is named Tutak Tutak Tutiya?
Sonu Sood: Tutak Tutak Tutiya is the most heard line. The moment we say this it gives you a festive touch.

NT: How close Tutak Tutak Tutiya is to Bhool Bhulaiya movie?
Sonu Sood: Bhool Bhulaiya was a power packed movie full of masti, entertainment, laughter and a little bit of horror and Tutak Tutak Tutiya is also a power packed movie. Good to hear that ‘Tutak Tutak Tutiya’ is being compared with ‘Bhool Bhulaiyya’. It was a super hit film,”

Sonu Sood: Kung fu yoga is coming up.

NT: Share us your best memories spent in Nagpur?
Sonu Sood: My best memory is of course my marriage, I got married here which one of my best memory and “Shankaar Nagar tapri ki chai” which makes me remind of my golden days spend at Nagpur.

NT: What message you want to give to young and struggling actor of the city?
Sonu Sood: Just be confident and work on promoting yourself and your talent.
