SFS School Alumni of 70 years unite in Mega Reunion

OBA-Reunion-2016Nagpur: There is a well-known proverb “A smile happens in a flash, but its memory can last a lifetime” same was the position of all attendees in Mega Reunion organized by SFS School Old Boys’ Association (OBA) at SFS School, Sadar, Nagpur which literally united alumni of last 7 decades.

Apart from this reunion, SFS OBA also felicitated ex students who have gained gracious heights by their sincere struggle and brought laurels to school, which included well-known industrialist Aspi Bapuna – Chairman, Bapuna Group of Companies from 1968 batch, Dr. Girish Subramaniam – leading Pediatrician of Central India from 1976 batch and three very senior Ex Students from 1946 batch, namely Zoeb Vali, wing commander (Retd) Stanley Nazreth and Father Micky Dalgardo.

The event was also graced by Rev. Archbishop Abraham Viruthakulangara, vice principal of SFS school Father Prashant Karavallil, vicar general Father Jerome Pinto and Anees Ahmed, ex state minister & also alumni of SFS school, who felicitated Sanyya w/o Ejaz Salim Inamdar for her book ‘Cornucopoem’.

OBA president Narinder Singh Kohli, vice president Tejinder Singh Renu, secretary Dr. Manohar Roy, Treasurer Devanshu Patel and executive body of OBA sincerely paid their gratitude to entire alumni, teachers, school, donors, sponsors and well-wishers for grand success of the event which was attended by almost 2000 ex students with their families and many retired teachers of the institution.

Event had DJ music, fire show from Balani family; free games for kids and ladies zone with facilities like mehandi, tattoo and many stalls of mouthwatering cuisines, which were enjoyed by the attendees.

Narinder Singh Kohli, Aspi Bapuna, Anees Ahmed and Father Jerome Pinto addressed the gathering. The program was conducted by OBA executive body member Dr. Sanjay Raghatate and vote of thanks was expressed by secretary Dr. Manohar Roy.
