Nagpur: BELTARODI Police busted a sex racket in Besa and arrested two persons, besides rescuing a young woman, on Thursday. Acting on a tip off, police officers sent a decoy customer to Massage Parlour at Atharwa Infrastructure in Besa. After he confirmed that two persons, including a woman, were running a prostitution racket, he signalled the police team standing nearby. The team raided the massage parlour and arrested two persons.
The accused have been identified as Barkha Vijay Meshram (33), a resident of Plot No 54, Chandramani Nagar, Ajni, and Ashish Sarjerao Saya, (27), a resident of Gittikhadan, behind HP Petrol Pump. Cops rescued a young woman who was dragged into flesh trade by the accused duo by promising huge profit.Cops seized some
cash and condoms from the parlour.
An offence under Sections 3,4 and 5 of Prevention of Corruption Act against Barkha and Ashish. The raid was conducted by Senior PI Vijay Talware, PSI sandeep Agarkar and others under the supervision of DCP(Zone IV) Nilesh Bharne and ACP Rajendra Dhamnekar
