Nagpur, Sept 8: City Editor of Deshunati and a Senior journalist from city Devendra Wankhede (age 47) passed away at Vinoba Bhave hospital in Wardha on Tuesday.
He leaves behind mother, wife Sunita, daughter Shravani and host of relatives to mourn the loss. The last rites will be performed at Sarul (Deoli tehsil, Wardha district) at 1 pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2015.
In last 25 years, he had made a mark in journalism by his writing. He was not keeping well since few days and was undergoing treatment since one week. He breathed his last at around 9 pm on Tuesday. He was husband of poetess Sunita Zade-Wankhede.
