Nagpur: A budding life was snuffed out as a speeding truck crushed a school boy to death in a lane near Parmatma Hospital, Tajbag in Sakkardara police area on Monday morning. The truck driver has been arrested.
Identified as Mohammad Ayan Mohammad Irfan (8), the deceased was a resident of Azad Colony Slums, Gulshan Chowk. Mohammad Ayan was returning home after attending the school around 11.30 am on Monday. Suddenly, a speeding Tata 407 truck (MH-40/Y-1478) coming from the opposite direction in the lane near Parmatma Hospital crushed him to death.
