Congress strongman and former East Nagpur MLA Satish Chaturvedi believes that this election in Nagpur is not between the Congress and BJP but between Congress and RSS as he dubbed BJP as the pawn in the hands of RSS. Clearing the speculations over his party losing ground in political field, he said this is nothing short of just hype created by some organizations. He alleged that these organizations who are out to tarnish Congress’ image has done more harm to the country than good.
Talking to Nagpur Today, Chaturvedi minced no words in hitting out both at BJP and RSS. He said that RSS ideology will take this country to the last corner of humanity. “This is the reason why Congress is keen to save India from communal power. If communal powers come to rule it will be doomsday for India at large. This election RSS is even distributing tickets to the candidates and contesting from Nagpur.
Chaturvedi was working with DAGPT department of government of India in his early days. Commenting on RSS he said that he was shocked to see many of his colleagues donating their full salary to this organization.This made him curious to know more about this organization. It was strange to know that this organization did not have any written constitution nor was it registered with any of the government body. The people of this organization wore uniforms and had lathi in their hands. Then he thoughtfully asked some of his friends about it as no private army was required in free india. “This organization was earlier banned for a few years after independence,” Chaturvedi added.
