
According to police, the accident took place around 4 a.m. within the jurisdiction of Saoner Police Station. The truck, bearing registration number RJ-01 GB-3347, was transporting a consignment of steel from Kalmeshwar to Rajasthan when it met with the accident.
Preliminary investigation suggests that road excavation work was underway at the spot. The driver allegedly failed to notice the diversion or ongoing work in time, causing the vehicle to lose control and overturn.

The injured driver, identified as Praveen Harjin Kathat (35), a resident of Bilawar, Rajasthan, was shifted to the Saoner Government Hospital with the assistance of social workers. He is currently undergoing treatment.
Following the rescue, police removed the overturned truck from the road, restoring traffic flow in the area. An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
