
Nagpur: The High Court Bar Association, Nagpur, declared the results of its Executive Committee elections on Friday, marking a decisive mandate across key posts.
Adv. A. R. Sambare scored a commanding victory in the presidential race, securing 1003 votes, far ahead of his closest rivals. His win sets the tone for a new term of leadership in one of Vidarbha’s most prominent legal bodies.
In the contest for Vice-President, Adv. G. N. Khanzode emerged victorious with 874 votes, while the post reserved for Women Vice-President was won by Smt. S. P. Deshpande, who secured 818 votes.
The Secretary’s post saw Adv. S. R. Bhongade elected with 810 votes, surpassing his opponent Adv. K. K. Nalamwar. For the Treasurer (Women Earmarked) position, Smt. R. R. Inamdar (Tiwari) clinched victory with an identical tally of 818 votes.
Adv. P. K. Mohta won the race for Joint Secretary, securing 748 votes, while Smt. S. K. Phaltankar was elected Library Incharge with 499 votes.

For the six open Executive Member seats, the highest votes went to:

- Shri Mirza Tabish T. A.
- Shri Jain K. N.
- Ms. Keole R. K.
- Shri Dhage H. V.
- Shri Ingle V. P.
In the Women Earmarked Executive Member category, the top three elected were:
- Ms. I. D. Thakare (highest with 922 votes)
- Ms. S. D. Gupta
- Ms. Neha B. S. Agrawal
Smooth Conduct of Elections
The elections were supervised by the appointed committee comprising Adv. Prakash Meghe, Adv. Bhanudas Kulkarni, Adv. Arun Patil, Adv. Deoul Pathak, Adv. Sangram Sirpurkar, Adv. Nikhil Padhye, Adv. Vaishali Khadekar, and Adv. Mugdha Chandurkar.
The newly elected body will assume charge immediately for the upcoming term, with expectations of strengthening institutional functioning and member engagement at the HCBA Nagpur.
