Nagpur: The Saibaba devotees would be able to have darshan of sacred ”Charm Charan Paduka” brought from Shirdi on 18th Januaray 2018 at the very own Saibaba Mandir located at Vivekanad Nagar, Wardha Road, popularly known as ”Shirdi of Vidarbha”. The Darshan is convened is part of ” Saibaba Samadhi Shatabdi year” being celebrated from 1st October 2017 to 18th October 2018 by Shri Saibaba Sewa Mandal, Shri Sai Mandir Vivekanand Nagar Nagpur in coordination with Shri Saibaba Sansathan, Vishwasth Vyavastha, Shirdi. The padukas’s are being brought from Shirdi to Saibaba Mandir Nagpur after 41 years.
Shri Saibaba Sewa Mandal, Nagpur has prepared a timetable for program scheduled on 18th Jan 2018. The darshan of paduka would begin as soon as the Morning Kakad Puja is over from 5.15am onwards. The darsan would go on till the last person in the queue could avail the benefit of Paduka darshan. Parking arrangement for vehicles has been made at the open ground Adjoining Gajanan Maharaj Mandir and Ram Mandir, located behind the Saibaba mandir at Vivekanand Nagar. Over 200 Sai Sevak- Volunteers would be present to guide the devotees and ensure the darshan takes place in systematic manner. The NMC and Police Deptt. has been informed accordingly and the required permissions are being taken.
Apart form this, At 6.45 am Acharya Shreenath Pithadhishwar Swami Jitendranath Maharaj, Shree Kshetra Anjangaon Surji would do the flag hosting. Shri Vijaybaba Kondra, Founder President, Shri Saibaba Sewa Mandal, Wardha Road, Nagpur would be present at the flag hosting occasion. At 7.00amthe Paduka Pujan would be performed by Pujari from Shirdi. Dr. Suresh Hawre, President, Shri Saibaba Sansthan, Vishwasth Vyavastha, Shirdi would inaugurate Blood Donation Camp. Bundi Prasad would be distributed during the various occasions on the day.
Meanwhile, Saibaba Mandir Sewa mandal also informed about the various works that would be done by the mandal for the year of 2018. Mandal is planning for the hospital giving free services to incoming patients near Saibaba Mandir and tailoring training center for girls to become self-empowered. The permanent shed-cover would be put across the front premises of Saibaba Mandir. The golden layering on the porch in front of the Saibaba statue and the side area is on cards. Mandal has urged devotees to contribute as per their wishes. Mandal would take decision on this and later start the work. The 100th Punyantithi would be celebrated with zeal in co-ordiation with other Saibaba mandir’s in various areas of the city. The Nine shops in the premises of Saibaba mandir would be aligned in one single line making the remaining premises open to manage the crowd in better ways informed Secretary, Saibaba Sewa Mandal, Avinash Shegaonkar.
