Sadar Police extern Qureshi gang members for six-months from Nagpur

Nagpur: Sending strong message to criminals indulged in notorious activities, Sadar Police have externed Qureshi gang members, involving various series of offences in Gaddigodam area, for six-months from city’s limit.

The accused have been identified as Mohammad Imran Zahir Qureshi (27), Rahil Qureshi (36), Asib Qureshi (36) and Sarfaraz Haq (35), all residents of Gaddigodam.

According to police sources, Imran runs the Qureshi gang, which is notorious for various illegal activities including cow slaughtering, criminal intimidation. This has been attributed to a sense of insecurity among locals.

Taking stock of such a stern situation, Sadar Police Inspector Manish Thakre sent a proposal to DCP Zone 2 Rahul Madane regarding externing these criminals.

Acting swiftly on which, DCP Madane had externed Qureshi gang members from city limits for next six months starting April 4.

Nagpur Police have requested locals to inform police on 112 or 0712-2562707, 2521200, 2566619 if these persons are found within city limits.
