Nagpur: Now all the Degrees of 2015 summer and the winter 2016 examination -graduate, postgraduate, PhD will be available on the website of National Security Academic Depository (NSAD). The agreement for this has been signed between Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) and NSAD on August 24. This agreement was done with NSAD to keep the degrees safe. Present during the agreement were RTMNU Vice-Chancellor Dr Siddarth Vinayak Kane, National Security Academic Depository Limited (NSADL), Mumbai Headquarter National Security Academic Depository Limited, Assistant Manager Prashant Prachand, RTMNU’s Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr Pramod Yewale, and Evaluation Committee Director Dr Neeraj Khati.
As one step toward development RTMNU took the decision to keep the degrees safe.
During this meeting it was informed that the degree will be uploaded on website just the next day of the convocation. The students will have to visit website and register his or her Aadhar card number and then the student will be able to see his degree on the NSAD website. Since the students degrees are safe on the NAD website, the fake or bogus degrees will be curbed. Whenever the students will need their degrees for the jobs they will be able view it on the website. The degree students and PhD students will be given password. With this they will be able to view it from anywhere, even outside India too. For this the students will have to contact their Head of Department, Principal or NADL on Phone or mail ID, the students have been urged.
It may be mentioned that NSADL is an authorised agency of University Grants Commission. As per the agreement the agency will give a free service to the university up to 30 September 2019.
