The Bajaj Group on Monday, August 4 gave Rs 50 lakh out of Rs 10 crore donation it had promised to Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU). Sanjay Bhargav of Bajaj Group, who present during the 91st Foundation Day celebration of RTMNU, handed over a cheque of the first installment of Rs 50 lakh for construction of new administrative building of Nagpur University.
The new Administrative Building will be named as Jamnalal Bajaj Administrative Building. The Building is slated to come up at the RTMNU’s land on Ambazari Road. Nagpur University is the first varsity to get such a huge amount as a CSR contribution.
Sanjay Bhargav was also felicitated during the programme. With the flow of funds, now it is expected to give a pace to the construction of the building.
