New Delhi:
The RSS General Council will meet in Coimbatore on March 21, Tuesday, its first meet in Tamil Nadu. The RSS feels there is fertile ground in the state for Hindutva to flower.

BJP president Amit Shah and union minister Nitin Gadkari will join the General Council meeting as as special invitees.

Over 1250 RSS delegates from all over India will arrive in Coimbatore for the meeting.

The RSS will also strategise the 2019 poll scenario — direct the BJP for an alliance at the national level to regain its lost positions — and deliberate on external policies.

The RSS will also observe two minutes silence for J Jayalalithaa.
