Delhi/ Nagpur: In a surprise to all, the fans of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) ideology are growing in Bihar. It was revealed in the online drive for membership of RSS during the months of July, August and September this year, which shows 38% increase. This increase is likely to influence the ensuing elections in Bihar, said the media reports.

According to sources, there are more than 6.5 lakh people who are inclined to RSS, considering 2014 as base year, and they belong to the age group below 50 years. They can influence the Bihar Assembly elections. During year 2013, the Safforn organization enlisted about 5 lakh new members and their further enlistment continued to grow. This year between January and June more than 5000 persons per month applied for RSS membership.

According to RSS Prachar Pramukh, Manmohan Vaidya, RSS ideology and its appeal endowed with national spirit is impressing the youths, for today’s youths want to get connected to the cultural values of India, which they are proud of. Vaidya said, this shows that youths want to serve the nation.

Sources further said, the increase in RSS fold in Bihar was 1000 per month on an average in year 2012 while 2800 in year 2013 and about 8000 in year 2014 on an average per month. More over, during current electioneering the polarization of youths in particular is taking place around  BJP and RSS, all due to Narendra Modi factor. This seems to be a tremendous achievement for BJP.
