NewDelhi/Nagpur: Stunned by the fiery speech of Kanhaiya Kumar on Thursday night at JNU campus, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has compared the JNUSU president with a rat.

“The example of communists is that of ‘rats’. What the High Court has said during Kanhaiya’s release is of much more importance than what RSS thinks about him or the communists,” said Manmohan Vaidya, RSS’s All India Prachar Pramukh .

When asked about Kanhaiya’s speech, Manmohan Vaidya narrated a fiction.

The example of communists is that of a rat who finds a well decorated cap on road. He goes to market wearing that cap and starts claiming that his cap is the best of all, even better than the emperor’s crown. Guards of the King hear his ‘false’ claim and report to their master.

The emperor summons the rat to his court. The rat repeats his claim in the court, “My cap is the best of all.” The emperor gets irritated and takes his cap. The ‘powerless’ rat shouts in anger, “O Emperor, you cant’t do anything else besides this. Your’e a pauper.”

The ‘all humble’ emperor returns the cap. In the end, the rat leaves the court saying, “The Emperor fears me, he is scared of me”.

“The is the condition of communists. What court has said during Kanhaiya’s release is of much more importance than what RSS thinks about them,” the RSS leader said.

Jawaharlal Nehru University students’ union president Kanhaiya Kumar, who was in jail for sedition case, was released from the Tihar jail on Thursday.

His release came after the Delhi High Court granted him six month interim bail. After his release, he addressed the students at JNU.

In his speech, he launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, NDA government and RSS, saying they were trying to suppress the voice of the poor by suppressing the voice of JNU.
