Nagpur: If the two-wheeler riders feel it taxing to wear helmets they could face more money trouble if they visit the imposing Empress Mall situated near Gandhisagar Lake. It is found that those visiting the Mall have to cough up Rs 15 parking charge for their two-wheelers and Rs 5 extra for helmets. The charge is acknowledged by a receipt having date and time. One could guess the amount the Mall parking operator must be pocketing as hundreds of two-wheelers make to the commercial place, daily.
But one fails to understand why Rs 5 for helmet!? Generally, a two-wheeler rider, after parking, locks his or her helmet with the vehicle or dangles it with handle or takes it along with them.
