Nagpur News : On the second consecutive day, car window smasher thieves target a city transporter and robbed cash Rs 2 lakhs from his car. On Tuesday evening, unidentified thieves had decamped with the cash Rs 50,000 and laptop from the car parked near NIT office in Sadar.

The thieves had smashed the car windows when the owner, Pawan Gupta, a resident of Manav Seva Nagar had gone for some work in NIT office.

On Wednesday evening, Ramdhyan Yadav, a resident of Wathoda ring road, files a similar complaint at Jaripatka police station claiming that cash Rs 2 lakhs has been stolen from his car. He told police that the left side window of the car was broken and the cash bag kept in the dickey at the front was stolen.

Yadav told that he had noticed two youths on bike were following him from Civil Lines.

“They were trying to hit my car to stop me but I ignored but they finally stopped him on Kamptee road and claimed that I have hit their bike” he informed. The youths had even picked up an argument with Yadav but he ignored them and drove away.

Few minutes later, Yadav parked his car in front of an automobile shop for some work. He returned within 15 minutes to find his cash has been stolen. Yadav had withdrawn the cash from Civil Lines ATM for some business deal.
