Rs 1.25 lakh cash stolen from shop in Gandhibagh

Nagpur: Burglars struck at a shop in Gandhibagh and decamped with cash Rs 1.25 lakh on Wednesday night.

The shop, Om Marketing, situated at Anand Bhavan in Gandhibagh, is owned by Pawan Puniyani. On Wednesday night, the unidentified burglars broke open the shutter locks of the shop and laid their hands on cash Rs 1.25 lakh. The theft came to notice when Puniyani came to his shop the next day.

Tehsil police have registered a case under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and searching for the thieves.
