RPF nabs tout for selling Rly tickets illegally at Nagpur Airport

Nagpur: A team of Railway Protection Force (RPF) of South East Central Railway, Nagpur Division, arrested a tout Shaikh Enul Hussain for allegedly selling unauthorized Tatkal tickets, worth around Rs 3,700, from an outlet at Nagpur Airport, on Monday.

The accused was slapped with charges for violations under the Railways Act. Hussain was later handed over to the RPF Police Station at Motibagh in Nagpur.

During the festive season, when demand for reservations was high, the RPF started a drive against touts that sell tickets using fake IDs and unauthorized softwares. With the beginning of the new year, the accused have been arrested in 5 such cases.
