Nagpur: Continuing with the RTI Week celebrations, Nagpur Tigers Round Table 299 celebrated “National Taare Zameen Par Day” on Children’s Day by conducting Painting competition organised by The Sunshine Foundation and followed by lunch for 40 underprivileged kids.
These kids drew inspiration from social themes like Swatch Bharat, Go Green & Communal Brotherhood and creatively portrayed these concepts with paint & brush to spread a social message. The whole event was energetic with the enthusiasm and liveliness of the children busy with their paintings.
The kids were awarded with chocolate boxes for the best 3 paintings and 5 special appreciation prizes. All the kids then enjoyed lunch and were gifted with goodie bags after the competition.
The event was graced by the presence of RTI National Secretary LMF Tr. Piyush Daga, and Tablers and Ladies from NTRT 299.”
