Nagpur News: Robbers snatched a bag from a couple after withdrawing cash of Rs 50,000 from Punjab National Bank, Kingsway branch, Situabuldi on Monday.
According to police, Mukta Vijay Tupat (46), a resident of Vidarbha Theatre Complex, Flat No. 512 B, near Sangam Talkies, had gone to withdraw an amount of Rs 50,000 from Punjab National Bank. Mukta had kept the money in a cotton bag. While going back with her husband on his Hero Honda Splendor (MH 31 DD 6050) bike, two unidentified thieves came from behind and snatched the bag containing the cash, pan card, Adhar card, voting card, and ID proof.
On the complaint of Mukta Tupat, Sitabuldi police registered an offence under Section 392 and 34 of the IPC. Further investigations are under way.
