Nagpur News: Pachpaoli police booked a goon demanding extortion money of Rs 5 lakh from a local businessman on Monday. Police said, the accused Sajan Sharma, a resident of Pachpaoli, Thakkargram, forcefully entered home-cum-office of Madhukar Nilkanth Sonkusre (35), a resident of Balabhaupeth, near Mata Mandir, in front of Shivkrupa Bhavan, and threatened him to pay Rs 5 lakh as extortion. Sharma threatened Sonkusre, who along with his partner owns Mayank & Developers & Builders, of dire consequences on non-payment of the money.
Madhukar Sonkusre rushed to Pachpaoli police station and lodged a complaint against Sajan Sharma. Police have registered an offence under Sections 385, 452, 294, 506 (b) of the IPC.
