Delhi Public School, MIHAN uniquely celebrated the National Youth Day by conducting a ‘Traffic Awareness Program’ for the students of Grade XI on 12th January 2024 which happens to be the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
Abiding the Traffic rules and knowing the traffic signs can help citizens avoid accidents and keep themselves and others safe on the road.
Students participated in this program enthusiastically by holding the placards near the entrance gate of the school and highlighting various traffic rules to develop traffic awareness amongst the parents. The objective was to sensitize everyone regarding following the traffic rules and wearing helmets and seatbelts while driving on the road. Students also distributed badges to traffic rule followers and encouraged others to follow the same.
