Nagpur: The Meteorological Centre (RMC) in Nagpur issued a cautionary hailstorm warning, signaling a ‘Yellow Alert’ from March 16 to 18 across Vidarbha, encompassing Nagpur and surrounding areas.
As per forecasts from the Weather Department, hailstorms accompanied by gusty winds are expected in Nagpur, Bhandara, Gondia, and Chandrapur districts on March 17 and 18. Similarly, Wardha and Gadchiroli districts may experience gusty winds from March 16 to 18. However, other regions such as Amravati, Akola, Yavatmal, Buldhana, and Washim are anticipated to remain dry with no significant weather disturbances.
In addition to the hailstorms and gusty winds, partially cloudy conditions are predicted across most parts of Vidarbha, offering some relief from the scorching summer heat. Conversely, Akola, Buldhana, and Washim are expected to maintain dry weather patterns with no significant changes over the next three days.
