RGNIIPM to hold IP Innovation Gallery on April 26 in city

Nagpur: The Rajiv Gandhi National Institute for Intellectual Property Management (RGNIIPM), a Central Government Institute under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, will be holding an IP Innovation Gallery at RGNIIPM Nagpur on April 26, 2019 at 10 am on the occasion of World Intellectual Property. The event will display the innovated models, information on IPR, standee etc and will be kept in office up to six months.

The objective is to create IP Awareness by displaying/showing IP models so that many inventors, students, scientist which will motivate them and further to exhibition of models, products which indirectly help for commercialize with industries and other delegates who will be visiting. The eligibility criteria to display is (which articles/models/information to be displayed) – innovations, innovative products whose Patent was filed, models of Patent filed/ inventions or innovations, any IP filed, IP related information etc. can be displayed, like information on Patents, Trademark, Copyright, IPR etc. There is no Fees/cost from anyone for display & to view this gallery.

Proposals can be submitted to RGNIIPM till April 25 evening. It will be solely first come first serve basis and the selected top innovations from different category shall be awarded accordingly. The requirement for submissions are Name, Address, Mobile number of applicant, Details of proposed articles, advantages, problem solved to be display in maximum one/two page, 2D/3D/4D drawings, photos etc, Model, IP/Patent application number (if any) and the details should be send to rgniipm.ipo@nic.in as advance copy in MS word format.
