Nagpur: On Friday, the NTA released the revised results for NEET UG. Previously, on June 4, a total of 67 students from across the country had secured the All India Rank 1, including three students from Nagpur. However, 52 days later, the revised results show that only 17 students nationwide have achieved the top rank. Surprisingly, two out of the three top-ranked students from Nagpur have fallen off the list.
Ved Sunil Kumar Shende, who was among the Rank 1 toppers from Nagpur, now holds the 25th rank in the revised NEET UG results. He scored 715 out of 720 marks, achieving a 99.99 percentile. Previously, Ved had scored a perfect 720 out of 720. Similarly, Krishnamurti also lost his top rank. He, too, had scored 720 marks earlier, but his marks decreased in the revised results.
On the other hand, Subhan Sengupta has successfully retained his All India Rank 1. He was also the top ranker in the results declared in June and continues to hold the number one position in the revised list.
