Nagpur: A lewd man has been booked on the charges of raping a 14-year old frequently over a period of three months. The heinous crime came to light when the girl became pregnant.
The accused has been identified as Chandrashekhar Tabhane. The accused, taking advantage of the girl being alone in her Mankapur house, raped her on 1.4.2015. Thereafter, the accused Chandrashekhar Tabhane, exploited the minor girl physically till 1.7.2015. The smutty crime resulted in the girl becoming pregnant.
However, the pregnancy came to light at seventh month. Acting on the statement of a doctor and a report sent by Sewagram Police Station, the Lady PSI Y R Shrikhande of Mankapur Police Station booked the accused Chandrashekhar Tabhane under Sections 376(2)(1)(N) of IPC read with Sub-Sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and probing the case further.
