Raipur ACB official killed, two others hurt in road mishap

In a ghastly incident, a man was killed and two others injured seriously when the Mahindra XUV they were travelling in met with an accident near Sawali village near Khaparkheda on Sunday morning. The deceased was later identified as Isral Istehaq Hussain (64) who happened to be Additional Superintendent of Police, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Raipur in Chhattisgarh.

The deceased and two others — Irfan Hussain Khan (70) and Mohd Shabad Hussain Khan, both residents of Jafar Nagar — were travelling in the Mahindra XUV (MH-12/KY 8441) and were returning from Pench Project trip on Sunday morning. Around 10.30 am, when they reached near Sawali village near Khaparkheda, one of the tyres of the car burst resulting in the the vehicle turning turtle. Isral Istehaq Hussain was crushed under the vehicle and suffered head injuries. He and two others were rushed to Mankapur-based Alexis Hospital where doctors decalred Hussain brought dead.

Parsheoni PSI Anil Raut has registered a case and probing the matter further.
