What started as a slight drizzle early morning hit back with a full shower in the evening catching the citizens unawares. The rain drops seemed to be colder than usual rains of monsoon season. The roads suddenly wore a deserted look as citizens rushed to their cozy homes.
The worst hit, were the owners of the road side eateries who did a brisk business from the time when winter season showed its real colours. Suddenly all the customers who usually park their two-wheelers for a tasty snack suddenly rushed to the nearest shelters or their houses. The hostellers too rushed back to their rooms as getting wet in this rain is a sure welcome to falling sick.
Those who had to venture out had to re-locate their umbrellas or raincoats to protect themselves from the very cold rain.
The Regional Meteorological Centre, Nagpur had forecasted that the city would experience generally cloudy sky. Rains would occur. The maximum and minimum temperature would be 25 Degree Celsius and 19 Degree Celsius respectively
