A Railway employee was crushed to death when he was run over by a train while working on tracks. The incident occurred at about 3 pm on Monday.
The victim Ashok Ganesh Pawar (29), resident of Quarter No. RBI/366, Ajni Railway Quarters, Nagpur, was carrying out some work between Pole No. 828/18 and 828/20 on Khapri-Ajni Down Line. While working, the deceased Ashok failed to notice a train approaching fast towards the spot and was run over by it. He died on the spot.
